you cant change the main headquarters unless you start a new profile. This info is wrong. You can indeed change your home base to another city. Go to the driver manager and relocate yourself to another one of your garages. Then go to truck manager and relocate your truck to your new garage location. Boom...new main headquarters in another city.

On the normal map i can zoom out to reach the northern cities, but i can not zoom in (the map goes always to the center), even when the positiion of my truck is there. And in the cargo or freight market, there is no possibility to zoom out, so i can not choose on of the northern cities to check the cargo or freight market in these cities.
