The headquarters is a working office, but also has lots of memorabilia from the Iditarod all around it. It is also a gift shop with some nice things. The dogs are not at this site all of the time.

My wife and I visited the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race Headquarters towards the end of May 2016 during our escorted ‘Natural Wonders of Alaska’ tour with Titan Travel. We had an afternoon visit at the end of our journey by motor coach from Denali to Wasilla for our 1 night stay on a room only basis at the Grand View Inn and Suites.
