The expectations are outrageous for managers. I still believe we should get paid more than we do, since we work minimum almost 45 hours a week (some closer to 50) and have to work opening, closing, weekends, and we don’t get paid overtime. Let’s not talk about the algorithm for labor and our budget for non coverage and training varies per store.

-Benefits start at 160 hours, so 4 weeks. Not the end of the world, but most of the better employers in the area give benefits day 1 -Free life insurance equal to 100% of salary. Again, not horrible, but to put this in perspective, the place I work gives 250% -$1,000 per year tuition reimbursement, which is an absolute joke.

My gripes with Starbucks include corporate's inability or unwillingness to do common sense things. Some things are done or set up inefficiently for no good reason. This makes every day at the job potentially frustrating, as drive thru times and other requirements are often impossible to fulfill due to this lack of streamlining (and lack of labor).
