Originally owned by Jacob Ford Jr., a prominent Morristown businessman, the mansion served as George Washington's military headquarters from December 1779 to June 1780. The Ford Mansion in Morristown, better known as Washington Headquarters has an entrance fee of $7 pp. if you are age 62 + get yourself a National Parks Pass (still $10 but I heard that fee is going to $80). The Pass is good for life, includes a parking pass, and you can admit an additional 3 people in your group.

Morristown National Historical Park Come explore the Washington’s Headquarters Museum! The museum has a variety of things to offer including three exhibit galleries, the park film, & Museum Store. Park film is approx. 15 minutes in length & provides more details on the winter encampment of 1779-1780.
