Monadnock, the most hiked mountain in North America is a wonderful hike for all, just make sure you are hiking up the proper trail for your fitness level. Beginners and casual hikers arrive early, by 9:30am, to make sure you start from the main parking lot (1st lot).

This new family camping area opened July 9, 2010 at Monadnock State Park and is located just down the road from the park headquarters area at 585 Dublin Road, Jaffrey, NH 03452. The new campground has 35 campsites that can accommodate tents and pop-ups, plus 5 remote hike-to sites. A new bathhouse with showers and playground complete this facility.
