We just upgraded from LCS 2005 SP1 to a OCS 2007 server and deployed Office Communicator 2007. On some of the computers, we are getting the message ' Cannot synchronize with the corporate address book. This may be because the proxy server setting in your web browser does not allow access to the address book.'

Now as i explained the external Users can access to their communicators but their communicators show the message "cannot synchronize with the corporate address book" and it show a windows authentication that is matching to the Exchange Server. The Internal Users don't have any problems. Someone can Help me. Thanks

The failure message is "Cannot synchronize with the corporate address book. This may be because the proxy server setting in your web browser does not allow access to the address book.If the problem persists, contact your system administrator". (There's no galcontacts.db file)

I have the same problem in my office. But is happening just to one person, isnt a general issue. Ive noted as well that the OC of this user syncs with its personal contact list instead of its corporate address book. I tryied to delete the GalContacts.dbf(or something like that) and it didnt work. I reinstall the client without results.
