To improve public safety and provide first-class customer service, the District constructed a state-of-the-art Unified Communications Center (UCC). The UCC opened on September 26, 2006, and is located on the East Campus of the St. Elizabeths Hospital site. The UCC receives and processes calls to 911 and the District's customer service line, 311.
