I flew up from California to Seattle a couple of times for meetings at the Starbucks HQ which is actually known as the Starbucks Support Center (aka SSC). The "siren" from the Starbucks logo is featured prominently at the very top of the building. You can see it from many parts of Seattle! It's a gorgeous building on the inside.

I think it's great that many of the employees at the corporate headquarters started out working retail in the store. Great work-life balance - for the most part, people leave between 5 and 6 pm. Howard Schultz is an excellent leader and surrounds himself with well-qualified leadership for the company.
