The headquarters is a working office, but also has lots of memorabilia from the Iditarod all around it. It is also a gift shop with some nice things. The dogs are not at this site all of the time.

Iditarod Headquarters is famous for its smog-choked roads, overcast skies and murky river. But it’s also quite nice in places! In fact, being outside in Iditarod Headquarters is frequently enjoyable. Thecity’s cosy pubs and hidden bars are all very well, but now we’re shedding the puffa jackets, donning our ‘cool guy’ shades, and stepping outside.
